Thermistor Connection

I installed a 2-pin female connector on the end of the original thermistor wires, cut the new thermistor wires shorter, soldered male pins onto the new thermistor wires, and made the connection with a big loop to decouple the thermistor leads from wire flexing that can occur with X axis motion.
